Finally...wool covers are back at The Nappy Bucket. These wool covers from Little Britches are beautifully hand made by an Aussie WAHM (Work at Home Mum), with the option of having a cute embroidered teddy bear on the back or not.
 Wool is highly absorbant, is very breathable and the natural lanolin neutralises odour from urine. Little Britches wool covers are made from delightfully soft and stretchy 100% merino wool fabric. The double side snap closure design allows independent adjustment of waist and leg.
If you want, you can ask for extra snaps to be added at the inner back of the nappy, thus making it easy to snap-in one of the Little Britches snap-in inserts for a quick and easy nappying option. These snaps don't come in all the covers, you will need to ask for them to be added when you place your order.

These are a soft, natural and extremely effective option, you don't need to wash the cover every day (unless it has gotten dirty), as the natural lanolin in the wool neutralises the urine. Simply hang them somewhere out of the sun to air between uses. These wool covers have been prewashed and lanolised for you. Every few weeks (or if soiled or dirty) hand wash in warm water with a wool wash (The Nappy Bucket has a range of wool wash products that are excellent for this). Rinse well, roll up in a towel and squeeze to remove excess water. Place out of direct sunlight to dry. You will need to relanolise the wool cover after a few washes, unless you are using a wash product that contains lanolin.
